The Green River Co-op Preschool is a nonprofit preschool run on tuition, donations, and the support of our parents.
We take pride in providing a caring, professional approach to preparing your child for a successful lifetime of learning and meaningful contribution. We are commited to providing a creative learning environment that is focused on early childhood development.
Each class session has free playtime, group time, and snack time. During the free time, all center, toys and games are available for use with mininmal instruction from adults. This allows the children to be creative, to work on cooperative play and gives them peer interaction time. Supervised art projects are also done daily. Music, rhythms, stories, dramatizations, and finger-plays are presented during group time, with each child being invited to take part. At snack time, the children learn proper manners for eating with others at the table.
